Studio Series — Core Technique Level

SiccaBlooms™ Foundations introduces the essential principles of working with wafer paper using the Sicca dry conditioning system.

This level focuses on building confidence in material control, understanding paper behavior, and mastering clean shaping with minimal tools. Each project in this section develops the fundamental skills needed before moving into more complex flower structures and advanced forms.

Lessons in Foundations concentrate on:

• understanding wafer paper conditioning
• recognizing correct working readiness
• shaping and controlling petal movement
• clean, efficient assembly logic
• developing workflow confidence

The goal is not speed, but understanding — creating flowers with intention rather than repetition.

Once these foundations are established, students can naturally progress into more complex floral studies within the SiccaBlooms™ Studio Series.
