I’m Petya Shmarova, an award-winning wafer paper artist, international instructor and competition judge based in Sofia, Bulgaria, and the author of two books on wafer paper flowers.
For more than ten years, I’ve explored the creative possibilities of wafer paper, developing original techniques for lifelike flowers, expressive foliage and sculptural decoration.
This work has grown into Bloom Architecture—my family of original wafer paper systems: SiccaBlooms™, PlicaBlooms™, VellisBlooms™, MassaBlooms™ and QuintaBlooms™.
My Wafer Paper Botanical Lab brings these explorations into classes that open new creative possibilities. Through my books and lessons, I share that experience to help you understand the material, build your skills and bring your own ideas to life.
